  • Rust- Raw iron that has been oxidized. This finish will continue to rust over time and will rub off. This finish can be preserved by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant.
  • Black Powder Coat-A baked-on finish that is virtually maintenance free. This finish is shinier than Oil Blackened and is permanent.
  • Weather Bronze-Solid cast bronze. Bronze will continue to age and patina over time. No two pieces will ever look identical.

Unique Historic Restoration

I removed the handles and applied a pair of these to a modern refrigerator which I had covered with oak.veneer. My web site Canmorecottage.com shows the finished product. I LOVE the weight and hand of these substantial handles and the look is perfect for my 1910 bungalow restoration and I am ordering a pair in black for the refrigerator in a strongly equestrian "carriage house." They are a great value and give enormous effect for a tiny price. With 35 years of professional design under my belt when all the basics are done correctly is still in the most minute and ideal detail. Highly recommend the quality of these charming handled.
